son ark arrived in Los Angeles by way of Roanoke Virginia (which lays exactly between The Grand Ole Opry and Apollo Theatre) when they heard a rumor that Sam Philips was rebuilding Muscle Shoals on the west coast. Since then, son ark has been filling establishments across Los Angeles with their unmistakably unique brand of Americana roots rock and with lyrics that tell tales of bygone eras and heartbreaking love lost, son ark longingly reminds us of days gone by. The songs are not antiques, though. Influenced by the likes of Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, Patsy Cline, Andrew Bird, and Led Zeppelin, son ark tells their tales in a decidedly contemporary way.
Gypsy River Haunts

Andrew and Dustin grew up together in Idaho and both moved to Los Angeles in 2005. In 2008 they formed Gypsy River Haunts with Nic And Johnny whom grew up together in Los Angeles. Through their diverse musical backgrounds they have dubbed their sound as "Western Rock" which draws influences from Country, Rock and Roll, Soul, Blues and Rockabilly. In 2008, they recorded The Devils Son Ep and in 2010, recorded Bourbon Legends, their first full length. Their new release, the Forgive Me Ep is due for release in August.
Scott Topic
Scott Topic is a comedian who likes people to think that he likes to think that he knows what time it is. His craft was built on red clay in a northern California mountain town full of rednecks, stoners, christians, and manzanita. Topic and friends built their own production stages in school and began exploring their young comedic selves under coffee can stage lights at an unripe age. Topic's rugged upbringing led to his topical material style covering top topics aiming at new heights even if the top is icky. Topic's incredibly strong comedic timing and razor sharp improv skills are certainly a plus infinity in his so much fun show that he has dripped all over audiences in night clubs and theaters up and down the state of California and beyond.
