Boo Seeka
Boo Seeka
BOO Seeka's synths and beats keeps the energy sizzling like a neon sign on the Miami strip. The Sydney hip-hop-psych-soul/dream-tronic project begun an outlet for a couple of musical experiments, a testing ground for new sounds. And it's growing, multiplying and producing delicious sounds. Their debut single, "Kingdom Leader" was premiered and featured as Song of the Week on HillyDilly.com. The track made blog and radio waves abroad with features on The Music Ninja and LaBelle Musique and received airplay on KCRW (California), and on XFM in the UK.

A song that drips sexual foreplay and massages the soul. A combination of pulsating synthsounds that bed down layered textures of electronic bass and percussive beats. The sonic stimulations throughout the track enthral, and asks you to delve deeper with every second of the song. The single peaked at #6 on the Australian iTunes Electronic chart. 'Kingdom Leader' was also placed on high rotation on Triple J and played on community stations around the country.

Influenced by the layerings and experimental beats of Major Lazer, the cool swagger of J-Dilla and The Seed 2.0's Cody Chestnutt's soulful vocal delivery. BOO SEEKA snaps up melodies and bounces them off hip-hop/R&B driven grooves and beats that vibe. After releasing 'Deception Bay' and 'Fool,' Boo Seeka proves that they are masters of stringing lush melodies with vibing beats. Both singles was put onto Triple J's rotation hit list it's week of release.

2015 have seen Boo Seeka tour the country with Kim Churchill, Sticky Fingers and SAFIA. Supporting each band on their respective National Tours around Australia. Followed by 2 SOLD OUT Headline single tours of the east coast. 2015 also included two 6 week tours of Europe, playing shows in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and Holland and the UK. Supporting DMA's, Jarryd James, Kovacs in the EU and also showcasing at The Great Escape in the UK.

They're gearing up for their first album, to be released in the third quarter of 2016.

Magic Bronson
“What genre would you put yourself in?”
It’s a question that Magic Bronson seems to get asked often. The usual response is to throw out words like synth pop, indie, alternative, electronic but more times then not the final answer seems to be, “We aren’t really sure?” To be quite honest that’s the way Magic Bronson likes it. One things for certain. The band comprised of Michael Nicastro and Matthew Lieberman will never write the same song twice. Drawing from a large well of influences but never latching onto one sound or style the two spend a large majority of their time locked away in their studio. The band is non traditional in the sense that they don’t jam to write songs. Each member has their own recording set up and it works in a variety of ways. Often times Nicastro will have a beat he’s working on and Lieberman will come play bass and add some lyrics or Lieberman will bring in a beat with lyrics and Nicastro will strip it down and build it back up into something even better. Its a constantly evolving process that allows the duo a chance to have unique and different sounding songs while still keeping it Magic Bronson.

It’s been nearly 2 years since the release of Magic Bronson’s debut full length “Wildlife” which spent 7 weeks on the CMJ Top 200 and has racked up over 800,000 plays on Spotify. The album also saw a steady steam of TV/Film placements with songs featured in “Graceland” (USA Network), “You’re The Worst (FX), DICE (Showtime) and in the feature film “Certain Women” (starring Kristen Stewart & Michelle Williams) which premiered at Sundance Film Festival in January 16’

Magic Bronson spent 2015 writing and recording eventually ending up with around 20 demos. After bringing those demos to producer Mike Malchicoff they ended up with 5 brand new tracks that became the Magic Bronson EP released April 2016. KCRW named “Hell With A Water Pistol” their track of the day and Kevin Bronson of BuzzbandsLA gave high praise calling the EP "five bass-propelled songs with rave-ready production, surprising twists and clever lyricism.” 2016 also saw the band expanding to a 3 piece with drummer Michael Brown which helped land them the coveted Monday night residency at The Satellite in Silverlake as well as a spot at the Echo Park Rising Festival. The band finished up 2016 by releasing the single “What a Week” which was featured in the Kendall & Kylie Jenner Holiday Ad for PacSun and had their song “Rider Rider” in the Spotify 2016 Holiday Ad that was featured in 24 different languages worldwide. Their new single “Nervous” premiered on Billboard.com and the band is currently in the studio with producer / mixer Will Brierre (Xylo, American Authors, Walk The Moon) working on a new full length record.
Dyan
Dyan
A trio with roots in Winnipeg, Cincinnati, and Los Angeles, DYAN builds songs out of minimalist synths, layers of atmospheric guitars, and driving rhythms. Alexis Marsh (singer/guitarist/bassist) and Sam Jones (guitarist/synths) co-produced Marsh’s songs between scoring film and television projects; Dan Dorff Jr (drums/synths) joined when the duo was mixing what became the group’s debut album, Looking For Knives. With the band in place, they began translating the music from the studio to the stage, playing their first show at Union Station as part of Live Nation’s Ones To Watch summer concert series in July 2016. Looking For Knives premiered on Billboard late-July 2016 and was preceded by singles "St. James", "Days Upon Days", and "Looking For Knives" - each one charting on HypeMachine and garnering praise on IndieShuffle (‘on my list of songs that I'm definitely going to replay the fuck out of’) and DIYmag.com (‘They throw gorgeous, simple oddities in at every opportunity’). The title track spent two weeks in the top 10 of Spotify’s Viral Chart (both USA & Global), helping push play-count to over 500,000 within a month of its release. Looking For Knives is available on vinyl at vinylmoon.co/dyan.
