Palmistry
Palmistry
Palmistry is a South London-based producer & vocalist. His first solo release, 'Catch', dropped on Mixpak in October 2013, with visuals directed by himself and London artist Daniel Swan. The follow-up is 'Protector SE5?, a London dancehall ballad released in July 2014.

Dazed Magazine talks about 'Catch' as part of its 'Top ten feels of 2013?: "Palmistry traces a love story here through flirty dancehall production, with soft comforting vocals…It's a formula we wouldn't mind seeing more of in 2014 from Palmistry, the artist from the Mixpak family. For now, he made a precious ballad that restores hope and faith in romance."

Karman
Los Angeles native Hunter Karman (dubbed Karman) independently launched his bedroom project in 2014 with 2005 Forever; an 8-track melancholic dance project including a remix from Yung Sherman and artwork by Terrel Davis. Comedy Central picked up Karman’s remix of Cubby's "Steady Now" with an added Tasha the Amazon verse for their show Broad City. Following the TV placement, Karman was selected as a finalist for the Def Jam & VFILES contest, which consisted of DJing VFILEs' NYFW party at Webster Hall and later accompanied Yung Lean & SBE/GTB plus MarcymaneMFK of Goth Money on the second half of the Unknown Memory Tour.

Karman released the first single off his forthcoming EP Heaven Complex earlier this summer titled "No Us" via NYLON and the second "Flay" via DUMMY. The project comprises songs that were started during his time immobilized after an auto accident and subsequently completed post-recovery. Karman says "it's the soundtrack to suffering and hope, anxiety, and adventure.*
