Chad Valley
Chad Valley
A product of Oxford’s prolific creative community, Chad Valley has a catalogue that spans three studio releases – 2010’s self-titled debut EP which was a bedroom exploration in swirling synths and sunburnt melodies. 2011’s Equatorial Ultravox expanded that recipe, giving his downtempo productions a decidedly more pop- leaning twist. It was with Equatorial Ultravox that Chad Valley’s profile grew substantially, thanks in part to single ‘Shell Suite’ being used by Alex Patsavas in the major movie, Warm Bodies, and a string of key touring slots supporting the likes of Active Child, Chvrches, Erasure, Friendly Fires and Passion Pit. In 2013, Chad Valley released Young Hunger, his first proper album and one that saw him further embrace his pop ambitions. The material was a modern collage of 80’s freestyle jams and 90’s radio singles, featuring an impressive list of collaborators including El Perro Del Mar, Glasser, TEED and Twin Shadow. In support of the record, Chad Valley toured the world, winning over fans with his stellar voice and impassioned performances. September 2015 saw the release of his sophomore album, Entirely New Blue which was a more introspective affair, written between Brooklyn (where he worked with Joel Ford of Ford & Lopatin) and his home studio in Oxford. Ever the touring machine, Hugo headed out on tour for the best part of a year, playing shows all over Europe, Asia and North America and now comes back with new material in 2017.

An enigma of individuality, Danielle "Danz" Johnson is her own sound. Fueled by an obsession with music stemming back to growing up in the Catskills of New York, music has always been her mainstay. Danz joined the NYC music scene at 18 as a DJ and Promoter whilst going to Hunter College. After a few years in NYC, Danz took a hiatus to Tampa, Florida where she began teaching herself to create music. The result was Computer Magic – a solid mesh of space-like dance beats and personable lyrics. Danz returned to New York and started performing live. Computer Magic to date has released 3 full length records in Japan on P-vine & Tugboat Records, the last of which "Mindstate" making it to #1 on the Japanese Electronic music charts. She has released 6 EPs worldwide, and will be releasing her US debut full length record later this year produced by Claudius Mittendorfer.
