Gavin Turek
Gavin Turek
It’s impossible not to become infatuated with disco-pop princess Gavin Turek. The LA Native is always clad in a hand-made 70s fringe dress (she has one in every color) and armed with the best dance moves you’ve ever seen. It’s easy to draw comparisons anywhere from Tina Turner to Beyoncé but really, Gavin is her own force to be reckoned with. Even the most apathetic concert goer leaves her shows revitalized and obsessed. Mayer Hawthorne was the first to take notice, not only inviting Gavin to open his sold out tours early on but also bringing her in as a guest vocalist for his latest project Tuxedo. (You may recognize her as the golden disco goddess gracing the stage with them this past year, everywhere from Jimmy Kimmel’s stage to the legendary Hollywood Bowl to Japan).

Last year was an unveiling of sorts for Gavin. After releasing her two disco tinged singles via iheartcomix/1nfity, she was named Spin named her Top Artist to Watch and her single "Don’t Fight It” as one of the best tracks of 2015. That summer, she released a mini album “You’re Invited,” a collection of sexy electronic tunes with longtime collaborator and electro genius TOKiMONSTA. The girl power duo premiered the new music via a short series of sold out shows around the country and the album quickly became a favorite for tastemakers like NPR, The Fader, KCRW, and Beats1. This spring, Gavin has already toured the West Coast and headlined a sold out month, long residency in Los Angeles to premiere a slew of new songs, including her latest single “On The Line” out via Hit City U.S.A. The single premiered #1 on HypeMachine and KCRW DJ Anne Lit proclaimed it the “single of the summer.” Fans can expect an EP release and more tour dates in fall 2016.
Soto Voce
Kenny Soto grew up on the streets of inner city Oakland, CA. Being persecuted for being gay at a very young age in an all African American community, Kenny attended 12 different schools in 8 years. Soto's only outlet for expressing himself, being free, and exploring his feminine sexuality was music. He had always felt like a girl trapped in a boy's body and music was Kenny's escape and outlet…a place where he was accepted.

His father remarried a German woman with 2 daughters. During the school year, Kenny lived in Oakland with his mother and was influenced by Oakland urban artists…and classics like Prince and Michael Jackson, But, during the summer, his German step sisters turned him on to classic European dance music and Brit Pop. Soto Voce is Soto's ultimate escape into his childhood fantasy world and a direct result of all his influences.

The other half of Soto Voce is Miguel Devivo. Originally from Columbia, Devivo moved to LA and is known for his project Villains that was signed to Dim Mak. Devivo and Soto met through a mutual friend.
Built on speed garage and electro, Kona's high energy DJ sets keep the floor packed and soaked. His "Back in the Future" EP hit the UK Garage Chart, Future 98 and Eagle Dub in the top 10s a notable accomplishment in a competitive scene.

The game doesn't stop there as he joins forces as one half the duo Scribbled Squad alongside Basslinger.

With notable supporting artists and solid talent in music production ,It was no surprise he landed releases on Bassbong Recordings and I Heart Records. (Stay tuned for release dates or visit his sound cloud for a quick preview.)

Whether you're at the club or in your kitchen when you hear his heavy hitting basslines and wonky fidget bangers their no doubt that you can't help but get into the groove of Kona.
