Onra (Arnaud Bernard) is a music producer from Paris, France. Mostly from a Hip-Hop background, his inspirations vary from genres such as Soul, Funk, Jazz, Reggae, Boogie, Modern Soul, RnB, Dub, World, Prog Rock, to name a few.
He first appeared on the collab-album Tribute in 2006 with French producer and friend, Quetzal, a Hip-Hop tribute to Soul music which was played several times by Gilles Peterson, Benji B and received critical praise on Okayplayer.com.

At the same time, he started collaborating with Byron The Aquarius, an American keyboard player from Alabama. Together they released an album under the name of The Big Payback in 2007, on japanese label Circulations. A project full of different influences such as futuristic hip-hop, nu-soul and broken beat. They also appeared on highly praised compilations such as Beat Dimensions and New Worlds.

In 2006, year of his first trip to Vietnam, the land of his grand-parents, he managed to bring back some Chinese and Vietnamese vinyls out of which he created a hip-hop instrumental album called Chinoiseries. The stand-out track The Anthem has been included on various compilations, and also covered for TV ads.

He has been selected to attend the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy in 2008, and played at the Sonar Festival the next summer.

His project called 1.0.8, made out of Bollywood samples, has got the Internet buzzing over once again in 2009, and had been elected as album of the week by many different shops across Europe.

Chris Alfaro is Free the Robots. The genre-defying artist pulls together heavy doses of traditional jazz, psych, electronic and hip-hop, with progressive melodies and devastating drums into a rich pot of sound. His techniques create harmony between genres with the blending of obscure samples with analog and digital compositions.

*Based out of Santa Ana, CA, Free The Robots started as a side project by Alfaro in 2003 while also playing with different bands, producing MCs and DJing. Having worked with so many different styles of music, Free the Robots brought everything together under one roof, allowing further exploration. With the use of samples, Controllers, and other live instruments, Alfaro creates a balance between the sounds of the past, present and future.

From Philadelphia this young beatmaker has been bubbling beneath the surface in the virtual world and has quickly made it onto the playlists of global radiomixes. Recently featured on Detroit MC Invincible's "Shapeshifters" (2008) and XLR8R magazine, he is a proven standout amongst the new wave beat generation. His captivating sound is a blend of true musicianship of great legends such as Miles Davis and hip-hop breakbeats all wrapped into one.
Making his name via Myspace, global mixes spinning around the world and with a Mary Anne Hobbs mix & plays from Benji B already under his belt he stepped up to the plate in 2010 with his first solo release on All City – Klouds. 15 tracks of varying rhythmic structures, lengths and speeds which go way further than mere beats and snippets. Sloppy, on beat and off its all thrown in the beat blender. He will also be appearing on our 12 inch collaboration series.
